Attending a program or doing an in-house retreat
at Karmê Chöling?
Enjoy your visit to Vermont in a lovely and quiet 1860's farmhouse set
back from the main street of Barnet village by a driveway lined with apple,
pear and plum trees. Blue Skies is a two-minute drive or fifteen-minute
walk to Karmê Chöling Shambhala Meditation Center. For more information
about Karmê Chöling and the programs it offers, see www.karmecholing.org

Natural Beauty.
The guesthouse overlooks the Stevens River and the White Mountains of New
Hampshire. Open lawns are surrounded by maple, oak, spruce, and birch trees.
Winter brings a blanket of snow with excellent snowshoe, cross-country,
and downhill skiing trails nearby. Spring and summer display lush greenery
and flowers, while fall bathes the region in spectacular reds, yellows
and oranges.

Looking for some R&R?
Drive ten minutes to Harvey's Lake or Moore Reservoir for swimming and
boating, or a half hour to downhill skiing at Burke Mountain. A golf course
is available ten minutes away in the town of St. Johnsbury. Local hiking
trails and backcountry roads are amazing for fall "leaf peeping."

Need some food for the spirit or the body?
The guesthouse is a half block from
Samadhi Store, a wonderful
bookstore and gift shop and about a block from the Barnet Village Store
(we call it "Deb's"), a country corner store and deli for snacks, sandwiches
and a variety of other items.
